[The media] covers government news that affects business, regulation, policy, and the law. We seek a talented reporter who can write about these complex issues. Our positions are freelance and represent an excellent opportunity to anchor your portfolio with a steady flow of assignments.
[The media] has been expanding its EU coverage and seeks a reporter to cover implementation and interpretation of the EU data privacy directive, e-mail privacy and spam issues, data retention, and EU bodies that set privacy policy, including the Article 29 group. This is a large and growing field with at least one or two stories possible per week, with lots of room to grow in the future including pan-European coverage of privacy issues.
This beat could also include non-EU coverage of Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands...
